If you’re gonna do a weird unique name, make it the middle name - you don’t have to use your middle name, and at most paperwork usually asks for a middle initial.
Then if the kid wants to use the unique name they can go by their middle (plenty of people do that when their first name is embarrassing or they share it with a relative), but they aren’t stuck with something weird.
if the one you love tells you, in a sexual setting: "you can do anything you want with me", and your response is to hurt her, you do not love her. that's it, that is the only thing. if you truly love someone, you don't look for permission or consent to harm her. if she is your beloved, you simply do not wish any hurt to befall her, and if you do, i implore you to question why you think that love can exist alongside a desire to hurt that person. if you orgasm when hearing your partner weep from pain - pain YOU inflicted nonetheless - how is that love? how can anyone ever call such a thing love?
This is actually how I came to conceptualise that asking for sexual partners to hurt me was wrong. Thinking about if the roles were reversed- would I want to hurt them? Of course not. Why were they ok with hurting me? And who taught me to ask for that?
